Hello!! ฅ(๑>ω<๑)ฅ♥
Was going to do this sooner but I had a minor concussion last week that's left me pretty bedridden (╯ಊ╰)
Everyone, please be careful and don't do stupid things like me.
Anyway, AX happened in a flash this year, but it was fun like always! I got to meet up with mostly everyone again and also make some new friends. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table or bought anything. I also gave away buttons to anyone who was cosplaying a character that I had drawn hehe/// Lots of cutie Animal Crossing cosplayers this year.

I think AX actually went by really quickly to me because I spent 1/4 of it knocked out lmao;; Not sure if it was from jet lag, getting close to no sleep two months before it, or maybe I'm just an old lady. I pretty much knocked out every day during AX ; 7 ; Kirostyle even thought I died one night and had to check for my pulse

Extremely Belated AX 2012 Report

Ahaha;;; with some encouragement, decided to finally put together an AX report ; 7 ; The details are probably a little fuzzy since I didn't keep a journal, so I've been picking my brain;; sorry if I left anybody out!

We left the park suuuperduper tired and I KO'd on the ride back * o *;; Rii and I were supposed to go to Knotts the day after with a bunch of the other artists, but we were both way too tired from DLand that we canceled.
Day -1
With the help of a friend, I went to pick up from LAX around noon and then checked into our hotel room! We found 
waiting in the lobby since she arrived the day before ALL THE WAY FROM HUNGARY (and spent the night there). After we checked in, we went to eat lunch * q * It was Squ's first Thai food experience hehe. Throughout the day, 
arrived, and next thing we knew, 
had his very own harem in a hotel room ahehe.

Day 0 began! Registration started around 3pm so we walked towards the convention center around 2pm. We had thought artist alley badge holders had their own separate lines, but the unhelpful AX staff told us otherwise and we had to wait with the general attendees outside in a giaaaaant line that snaked around LACC. So half an hour later and about 3 skin shades darker, zearyu texted us that we really do have our own separate line in the lobby... OTL
There, we saw

Also saw after 3 long years!After three hours of sitting in a corner at LACC, 17 of us decided to go to Arashi Sushi for dinner. riingo, twitchhhhh, onedayfour, Naguri and I each ordered some interesting rolls and share between us. Didn't manage to get a good picture of my own plate, so only 4 here;;
Day 1
Took the bus to LACC instead of walking like the day before, since we all had stuff to carry. Despite growing up in LA, it was my very first time taking a bus in Los Angeles...
Table set-up!! I wore my sheep hat most of the time, which looks more or less like my icon. Rii hid behind her display a lot while I was out in the open.
I didn't have time to prepare for AX because of my dissertation, so the table was mostly filled with riingo's beautiful art * q * I mostly took sketch commissions and helped sell the LoX artbook.

Met up with some old friends like

Day 2
Saturday was planned to be LoX cosplay day!! We managed to get Juno, Kiriya, Gylt, Rhyse, Lia, Ty and Yang!
After AA closed at 6, I rushed to change out of my costume and then go to the Yuki Kajiura concert (which we paid FARTY DERLERS FOR HEHEHE) with mellymerry and... OMG. GOOSEBUMPS. GOOSEBUMPS EVERYWHERE. I can never listen to a Yuki Kajiura/FictionJunction song the same way EVER again. It was beautiful. Melly and I were clinging to each other on the verge of tears.
Unfortunately, I was also super tired T ~ T;; I had to close my eyes a few times during the concert and just listen to the music because I couldn't handle all the flashing lights. I left before the encore; I was too tired to continue so I headed home first ; v ; Melly, who was staying at moosmic's house, had to wait for Moo to pick her up. There were a lot of street blockades and bus rerouting because of the X Games which were running simultaneously with AX, and on that particular night, the buses weren't running at all T ~ T;; I had to walk back to my hotel alone in creepy downtown LA hoping nobody would jump me;; luckily I made it back safely ; 7 ;
Day 3
I cosplayed Rinoa on days 3 and 4! I commissioned this talented lady to knit the duster and I put together the rest of the outfit by altering existing clothes. Most of the time, I was stuck behind my table so I didn't get a chance to meet many other FF cosplayers, but I managed to find a few when they walked by my table ; v ;

Everyone else went off to dinner (and some got.. srink... /looks at riingo) I vaguely remember a bunch of people coming over while I was KO'd LOL;; Slept a good 12 hours.
Day 4
Next thing we knew, it was Day 4 and closing day ; 3 ; A bunch of us took a group photo! We had to leave out twitchhhhh and Kirostyle because they had to run off somewhere;; orz Lots of print trades and chaos in the last hour of AA.
I can't really remember what happened afterwards... but I did meet a bunch of lovely, lovely people over the four days!

Disneyland Day!
Months before, a few of us planned to go to Disneyland! Unfortunately, we had to break into a smaller group at the park because a large group was just too difficult to handle;; So Kirostyle, riingo, seiracchi and I went our own way while RabuRabbit, Ruby-Heart, zearyu, Lo-wah and Zea's helper, Nguyen, went their own separate way.
We met some bad luck on our first wait in line when the Indiana Jones ride broke down on us T 3 T;; We made a detour for Matterhorn and for some reason, they let us go on it again without waiting. Then we went on the Roger Rabbit ride, since Kiro recommended it *o* it was super trippy! Afterwards, we managed to slot in the Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Star Tours, Thunder Mountain twice and then Indiana Jones twice, including the special July 4th fireworks they had hehe. Rii, Sei and I tried out the giant turkey leg that tasted just like ham.
